Hunter e36 Elco EPower Hybrid
When you thought sailing could not be any greener introducing the new Hunter e36 Elco Hybrid. Featuring the fully integrated Elco E Power system, a revolution in sailboat propulsion. The E Power system includes an integrated network of high performance recharging options with a range of over 800 nautical miles at five knots cruising speed at a cost of eight cents per nautical mile when under battery power only. 2011-PORTLAND BOAT SHOW
Are you ready for the big boating event of the year? The Portland Boat Show returns to the massive Expo Center (the only group of buildings big enough to hold the show). More than 200,000 square feet to explore and a full 5 days to see it all. For more than 50 years the Portland Boat Show has been one of the biggest – all indoor – boat shows in the region. PASSION YACHTS will be displaying new Hunters and intruducing West Wight Potter Sailboats. Also our brokerage display and ASA Sailing School.

2011-NEW HUNTER e33 
The Hunter 33 is a stunning New sailing yacht. Hunter's signature window line gives this yacht the sleek feel of the latest Hunters, but the improvements don't end there. The hull design has been improved, featuring a wider beam further aft as well as a more profound bow hollow. The result of this hull design is a longer dynamic waterline, which means more speed.

2011-Sail for the Cure September 25th 2011, Portland Oregon
Oregon Women's Sailing Association (OWSA) is proud to present the 12th annual Sail for the Cure® in support of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® of Oregon and Southwest Washington. Sail for the Cure is a fun event for the whole family that emphasizes boat-handling skills and cooperation rather than competition. We welcome everyone from first-timers to novices to expert sailors. Since the inception of this event in 2000, more than $267,000 has been raised. Last year, 102 sailboats and 646 people came together to raise $32,000. Join us this year and help us reach our goal of $44,000 and 700 participants. With your help, we can do it!

We have teamed up with International Marine whom is the builder for West Wight Potter. Passion Yachts will be representing the Potter 15, 19 and Sanibel 18 in the Northwest. Our first P19 has already arrived!

2011-SalparBay Marina Boat Show
Join us May 20th, 21st and 22nd 11am-7pm at Salpare Bay Marina as they kick off this summer on the Water Boat Show. We will have the Hunter 33, Hunter 27edge, Hunter 22 and one of our lessons boats the Hunter 34 on Display at the show.

Passion Yachts is gearing up for our HSOA weekend April 2nd and 3rd at Salpare bay Marina. We will have local rigger Rich Trachi tuning rigs. With 11 Hunter boats already signed up, its going to be a fun weekend. We can’t wait.
2010-Hunter 27E wins Sail Magazine 2010 GREEN AWARD
The more things change, the more they stay the same. The ELCO company introduced its first electric boat motors at the Chicago World’s Fair in 1893. And now we’ve seen the re-introduction of ELCO electric motors on a Hunter 27e at the 2010 Annapolis boat show.

2010-PASSION YACHTS AWARDED OUTSTANDING SAILING SCHOOL OF THE YEAR
For the second year in a row, the American Sailing Association has recognized the ASA Sailing School at Passion Yachts on Hayden Island in Portland, OR - ASA Outstanding School of the Year. Also, for the second year in a row, Captain Brigg Franklin, lead instructor, was awarded - ASA Instructor of the Year. ASA has approximately 300 active ASA Schools. Passion Yachts was ranked in the top 20 ASA SCHOOLS.
